Who is this Dashboard for?

Understanding the story behind the project.

Last year, I discovered prediction markets, and from the very first moment I was fascinated.

I come from an academic background in statistics, and I’ve always had a deep passion for numbers. What has always amazed me is how humans have literally invented a science to understand reality through data: to analyze the past, describe the present, and assign probabilities to future events.

That passion often translated into looking at sports statistics and trying to predict outcomes. Later, as I entered the world of finance, I realized how naturally statistics and finance fit together. At the same time, I became aware of how opaque and complex the financial world often is—sometimes intentionally so.

When I discovered how blockchain and smart contracts could enable decentralized prediction markets without intermediaries, I was genuinely amazed. Anonymous wallets, transparent transactions, and agreements on future events without banks or bookmakers.

This led me to Polymarket, the largest prediction market by volume and activity. From there, I started thinking about Bitcoin—not just as an asset, but as something that could be hedged using prediction markets.

This dashboard was born out of a personal need. I wanted one single screen showing Bitcoin price movements, volumes, and live Polymarket odds. The data existed, but not in one place. So I built it.

This is not rocket science. Hedging already exists. The point was clarity, simplicity, and accessibility.

This guide and dashboard are for people who know something, but not everything. For those who want to understand before acting. That’s how this project was born. Hope you enjoy it.

Who Am I

👨‍💻

Stefano Medici

My professional path began as a functional analyst at Banca Mediolanum, within its startup Flowe, where I worked at the intersection of business requirements, processes, and technology. I then moved to Deloitte, focusing on risk management and process improvement, gaining exposure to governance frameworks, controls, and the operational side of financial institutions. Today, I work at UniCredit in the Product area, where these experiences come together in a complex, regulated banking environment.

I’ve always had a strong passion for statistics, finance, and technology—especially AI, coding, and data-driven systems.

While time never allowed me to master programming as deeply as finance or statistics, understanding programming logic and leveraging AI finally allowed me to bring my ideas to life.

What you’re seeing on this site is the result of that journey.
